FINAL THEORY TEST

After passing your Basic Theory Test (BTT), you will be able to apply for your provisional driving licence (PDL) at the cost of $25. This temporary license will only be valid for two years. Following which, you can then apply for the Final Theory Test (FTT), which is also a standard cost of $6.50 across all three driving schools.

If you choose to engage a private driving instructor, then you will not need to go through the theory lessons in the driving school, you can apply directly for the theory tests. However, it will be highly advisable for you to go for a practice test before taking the actual test. The Final Theory Test is only valid for only two years.

The Final Theory Test assesses your understanding of safe driving practises and how to communicate with other road users while operating a vehicle. The FTT has 50 questions that must be answered in 50 minutes. You must correctly respond to 45 out of the 50 questions in order to pass.
