BASIC THEORY TEST
Basic Theory Test (BTT) needs to be passed before you can go for Final Theory Test (FTT). There is no expiry date for the validity of BTT and it cost $6.50 for each attempt. The cheapest and fastest way to pass BTT is to register for BTT as a private candidate and study the test on your own. or, you may use our online self learning resources below.
You will need to pass BTT in order to apply for Provisional Driving License(PDL) which will enable you to take practical lesson on the public road.
The Basic Theory Test aims to assess your understanding of traffic rules, traffic signs and signals, and general road safety. The BTT is made up of 50 questions that must be answered in 50 minutes. To pass, you must correctly answer 45 of the 50 questions.

If location and cost are not an issue, enrolling as a school candidate at BBDC is highly recommended because they have the highest pass rate. Private candidate self-learning is still the most cost-effective option.
